Retail bookseller, Barnes & Noble today announced the new entry-level NOOK Tablet 7”, the company’s super affordable NOOK retailing at just $49.99.

The NOOK Tablet 7” is a full-featured Android tablet packed with 1024 x 600 pixels IPS screen, quad-core processor, 8GB on-board memory with up to 128GB storage expansion option via a microSD card, and also 2MP front and 5MP Autofocus rear-facing cameras.

With the NOOK tablet you can access millions of NOOK Books, thousands of NOOK Audiobooks and hundreds of magazines and newspapers through the NOOK Store, as well as full access to the Google Play Store.
