New Huawei’s teasers surfaced on social media website Weibo for the Ascend P8 the company’s much anticipated flagship smartphone. According to the images, the Huawei Ascend P8 will feature the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 4. In terms of price the new Ascend P8 will be affordable. The device will have a flat camera unlike the iPhone 6 and Samsung’s latest flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S6 & S6 Edge which have raised back cameras. Also the Ascend P8 is expected to have a good battery life. Finally, the Huawei TalkBand B2 which is featured in last image could be an indication of its official release date alongside the Ascend P8.

The Huawei Ascend P8 is expected to feature a metal body design with a 5.2-inch Full-HD 1080 display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4, packed with 32GB / 64GB of internal storage with 3GB of RAM, an octa-core 2.0GHz Kirin 930 processor, and a 2600mAh battery.
It is also expected to run Android 5.0 Lollipop and to come with a 13-Megapixel flat rear camera and an 8MP front-facing shooter. The Ascend P8 will support 4G network connectivity. It is expected to be available in Amber Gold and Moonlight Silver body with an affordable price point.
The company will hold a media event in London on April 15th to unwrap its flagship smartphone. According to Jie Jinjin, Huawei’s Vice President of handsets, Europe was chosen for the event over the U.S. because that is where the company is selling a large number of its high-end smartphones.
