Samsung’s latest C series comprising the Galaxy C5 Pro, C7 Pro and already available C9 Pro, is expected to be made official any time now. In fact, retailers in China have already started promoting the Galaxy C series as shown in the photo below.

The main highlight of the Galaxy C series is the front-facing camera. The three devices are equipped with 16MP front-facing cameras, as well as 16MP rear cameras. The devices also share the same super slim metallic body design which comes in a choice of colours including Gold, Grey, Black, Rose Gold and Blue Pearl. We may also see the Black Pearl edition, to spice things up.As mentioned above, the Galaxy C9 Pro was launched last year in China and is widely available for sale in the country for about $475. The C9 Pro is the first device from Samsung to come with 6GB of RAM. This 6.9mm thin smartphone also hosts a 6-inch FHD AMOLED display, Snapdragon 652 MSM8976 processor, 64GB of internal storage and a 4,000mAh battery with Quick Charge technology.

The Galaxy C7 Pro is a mid-range handset packed with Snapdragon 625 octa-core chipset, Adreno 506 GPU for graphics, 4GB RAM, 3,300mAh battery, and is expected to use a 5.7-inch Full HD AMOLED display and 64GB of internal storage. It should run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with Samsung’s user interface from the word go. The Galaxy C5 Pro will be armed with a 5.2” – 5.5” FHD display, Snapdragon 626 chipset, 4GB of RAM and 3,000mAh battery, and also comes preloaded with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

In China, the Galaxy C5 Pro will be priced at ¥2,399 (~$345 – £283 – €330), whereas the Galaxy C7 Pro will cost ¥2,799 ($405 – £330 – €383). Consumers in China will be the first to get their hands on the Galaxy C series, followed by customers in other global markets, assuming in Q1 2017.
