The first gaming tablet from Acer is finally here. The Acer Predator 8” is dedicated gaming tablet initially unveiled at Berlin’s IFA back in September. Now the tablet is available for sale in the UK for £249.99 via PC World and Currys, and pre-orders in the US for $299 through Newegg.com and Acer’s online store.
Designed specifically for gamers, the Predator 8 gaming tablet provides an immersive gaming experience in a highly portable tablet. A unique array of four front-facing speakers with virtual surround sound, powerful haptic motors, and brilliant display work come together to satisfy gamers.
It features a Full-HD 1080p IPS LCD with LED-backlight Display, Quad-core 1.6GHz Intel Atom x7 x7-Z8700 Quad-core processor with with Intel HD Graphics, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of inbuilt storage with expansion capabilities via a microSD card of up to 128GB, gamers have room to take their games, videos and music with them wherever they go.
The dark grey brushed aluminum body design hosts a 5MP HD rear camera, 2MP frontal shooter and a 4550mAh Lithium Ion battery giving you up to 8.5 hours of play time as well as enjoying Google’s Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.
