Alcatel OneTouch has announced its Flash Plus 2 smartphone. The Flash Plus 2 will be first made available in Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, Monaco and Thailand. Sale starts as early as tomorrow in some of these countries.
The Android Marshmallow powered phone supports the use of a dual SIM connection and comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD display, MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core processor MT6755 clocked at 2GHz coupled with Mali T860 GPU and a choice of RAM and storage; 2GB+16GB or 3GB+32GB. There is a microSD slot that supports up to 128GB.
The Flash Plus 2’s metal body hosts a 3,000mAh battery and supports fast charging technology. On the camera side, there a 13-Megapixel rear camera with OV13853 sensor and dual-tone flash, along with a 5-Megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash.
The Alcatel Flash Plus 2 also has a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button. The 4G phone measures 152.6 x 76.4 x 8.2mm, weighs 157g and comes in Luna Silver and Venus Gold colour options for $160 (2GB RAM + 16GB storage) and $190 (3GB RAM + 32GB storage).
