Today at the Berlin IFA 2016, Alcatel announced the launch of its Alcatel XL smartphone and Alcatel POP 4 tablet, available in 6”, 7” and 10” models with 4G LTE connectivity and advanced audio technology with MaxxAudio by Waves.
The new Alcatel POP 4 tablets and XL smartphone, offer both, style and substance, with a sleek profile and premium metallic design details. The Alcatel XL smartphone packs a 6-inch 1080p Full HD IPS screen with 2.5D arc glass, Mediatek Helio P10 MT6755 octa-core processor, 4G LTE Cat. 6, fingerprint scanner, 3,500mAh battery, and a 13-Megapixel main camera with a 5-Megapixel secondary camera.
The Alcatel POP 4 6” tablet packs the same specifications as the Alcatel XL smartphone. As for the other two tablets; the Alcatel POP 4 7” and Alcatel POP 4 10”, both have IPS screens and 4G LTE Cat. 4 for connectivity. The 7-inch model is powered by MediaTek MT8735 Quad-core processor, whereas the 10-inch model is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 MSM8937 Octa-core processor.
The Alcatel POP 4 tablets and Alcatel XL smartphone will initially be made available in MEA and Europe, starting from mid-October, 2016. The company didn’t announced the price as yet, so make sure to stay tuned for more updates.
