Previously Amazon’s virtual voice-assistant Alexa was only accessible via Amazon Echo, Echo Dot and Tap devices. Today Alexa is coming to Amazon’s Fire tablets, so owners of the Fire tablets will soon be able to fire commands at Amazon’s virtual voice-assistant Alexa from their tablets.

If you are in the US you can simply get the $49 Fire tablet, Fire HD 8 and/or Fire HD 10 and you will soon have your own virtual voice assistant to access your entertainment, check weather, set alarms, timers & reminders, check your calendar, get news, find sports scores, order food, book Uber, control your smart home and a lot you have to do is simply press the home button on your Fire tablet for 1 second then ask your question. Alexa will respond to you and will even show visual responses to certain questions. According to Amazon, Alexa will be available via a free over-the-air software update in the coming weeks. We are also expecting Amazon to launch the Alexa software to Fire tablets’ owners in the UK and Germany. For more details head to
