ASUS has launched the ZenFone 2 smartphone and the latest ZenBook models to the United States and Canada at the ‘Incredible Comes to New York’ press event at the Gotham Hall in Manhattan.
The ZenFone 2 ZE551ML is ASUS’s flagship smartphone has an attractive retail price and features a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 Full HD IPS+ display has 403ppi and a large 72% screen-to-body ratio that provides a maximized viewing experience, while reducing ZenFone 2’s overall size.
Powering the device, a 64-bit Intel Atom Z3580 (Moorefield) processor with 2GB / 4GB RAM, an Intel LTE-Advanced modem provides ultra-fast and reliable 4G/LTE connectivity. There is 16GB / 64GB of internal storage with microSD for storage expansion.
The device has a premium Ergonomic Arc design with brushed-metal finish. The arc design makes the phone easy to hold and fits the palm of your hand comfortably. The rear-mounted volume control and shutter button is ideally-positioned for your index finger to snap photos, or adjust the volume naturally in your grip.
There is a 13-Megapixel PixelMaster camera with dual-color LED Flash and f/2.0 wide-aperture lens. The camera features includes; Low Light mode, Backlight (Super HDR) mode, and Super Resolution mode, ensure incredible photos even in a low light situations. At the front, there is a 5-Megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and an 85 degree wide-angle lens.
The ZenFone 2 is a 4G device supporting a Dual-SIM and running Android 5.0 Lollipop with ASUS Zen user interface out of the box. The device has a 3000mAh non-removable battery that provides more than enough power to get through the day, and it also features BoostMaster fast-charge technology for dramatically-reduced recharge times, 60% battery level in 39 minutes of a single charge.
