Samsung is expanding its virtual assistant, Bixby, to midrange devices in the Galaxy A series, and other than its latest flagship Galaxy S8 and S8+ smartphones. The South Korean company has just added Bixby to the Galaxy A7 (2017) smartphone recently launched at SK Telecom mobile carrier.
The 5.7″ Galaxy A7 is the first smartphone in Samsung’s Galaxy A series to support the artificial intelligence service Bixby. The SK Telecom version of the Galaxy A7 (2017) comes with Bixby software built-in. In terms of hardware specs, the Galaxy A7 (2017) is identical to the version announced in January. The Galaxy A7 (2017) is also IP68 certified, making it water & dust proof, and also comes with a fingerprint recognition.
SK Telecom is selling the Bixby-powered Galaxy A7 (2017) to customers in South Korea for KRW 588,500, which is approximately $515 USD and €450 Euros.
