BlackBerry has official introduced the Blackberry Leap smartphone at the Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona. The Blackberry Leap is a mid-range handset aimed at young professionals.

The device runs BlackBerry 10 OS and powered by a 1.5GHz Qualcomm MSM 8960 processor with 2GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of internal storage which is expandable via microSD memory card Up to 128 GB. The Blackberry Leap features a 5 inch HD display (1280 x 720 resolution – 294PPI).

The Blackberry Leap comes with an 8 megapixel auto-focus rear camera with a Flash and supports 1080p HD video recording at 30 fps, the front-facing shooter is 2 megapixel fixed-focus camera and supports HD video recording at 720p. The device has a 2800 mAH non-removable Lithium Ion battery with 25 hours of battery life. The Blackberry Leap measures Height 144 x 72.8 x 9.5 mm and weighs 170 grams. BlackBerry has priced the device at $275 USD with availability set for around April starting in Europe. Blackberry has also introduced the BlackBerry 10 slider smartphone, which has a dual-curved, all-touch display with a Keyboard.

As well as that, the BlackBerry Classic White will be available this month, while the Blue and Bronze models will be released in April. The Blackberry Classic is powered by Snapdragon S4 processor, and comes with a 3.5-inch square display with a 720×720 resolution, a 16GB of expandable internal storage with 2GB of RAM, an 8MP camera and 2515mAh battery with up to 22 hours of battery life.
