The good news is that the new slider phone is now up for pre-order in the US, UK, Canada and Mexico with a release date set for November 6th and 9th for the UK.

BlackBerry has pushed itself with PRIV, the device is not only running Google’s Android Lollipop operating system, but also packs top-end hardware components usually found in high-end Android smartphones. The device is powered by a 64-bit 6-cores Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor paired with Adreno 418 GPU, 3GB of low power RAM and 32GB of flash storage. There is also a microSD option supports up to 2TB of additional memory. The built-in 3410mAh battery supports Quick Charge 2.0 and promises of up to 22.5 hours on mixed usage.

Price! BlackBerry UK is pricing the PRIV at £559.00, however the device has been already up for pre-order for a while now with the Carphone Warehouse for £579.99. In the U.S. & Mexico it is priced at $699.00, whilst in Canada it comes at $899.00 through Blackberry’s online store. Retailers such as; Saturn.de and Amazon.de will sell the PRIV at €799,00 in Germany. The PRIV is also expected to start showing up in other markets with various retailers in the coming weeks.
