A new beautiful looking smartphone from Coolpad has exclusively landed at Amazon’s India. The Coolpad Max features a full metal chassis, Matte and Bead-Blasted backside forged from Aluminium alloy, giving the phone a sleek, smooth and tough enough exterior to handle the bumps of everyday life.
The Coolpad Max is equipped with a 5.5 inches 1080p Full-HD IPS Sharp display covered with 2.5D curved edge glass and anti-fingerprint coating film that keeps the display away from being greasy. The Max is powered by 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm MSM8952 Snapdragon 617 processor paired with Adreno 405 GPU, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage, expandable up to 32GB with microSD card.
The 13MP rear camera takes advantage of the Samsung ISOCELL 3M2 CMOS that brings in more light but less colour interference. The 6P lens helps minimise the colour distortion to produce a brilliant photo. Other camera features include; f/2.0 aperture, PDAF (Phase Detection Auto-Focus) and dual tone LED flash. At the front, there is a 5MP OV5648 camera.
The phone also hosts a 2,800mAh battery and a rear fingerprint scanner. It comes with the so-called Dual Space Android multi-users feature; Dual space brings you privacy protection and innovative “BiLogin” technology. The dual space is powered by Secure Spaces from Graphite software.
The Coolpad Max measures 152×75.5×7.6mm, weighs 170g and comes in gold and rose gold colours. It will ship with Android 5.1 Lollipop alongside CoolUI 8.0 user interface with a retail price of Rs. 24,999 (~$370 – £255 – €330).
