Google will launch its latest smartphones next month, October 4th to be exact. Today the devices’ renders were posted online. Sorry folks, there will be no Nexus devices this year. Dubbed Pixel and Pixel XL will be made by HTC and are expected to come with high-end hardware specs.

The new renders show an interesting design of the Google Pixel phones, a metal unibody in the lower half and a glass plate in the top half with the fingerprint scanner. It is unclear as why Google has chosen this type of design, perhaps the design hides special features that we don’t know about, we just have to wait and see when Google officially unravels its Pixel phones.google-pixel-renders-show-interesting-design-weboo-co-1As for specifications, the Google Pixel and Pixel XL are said to have a 5 inch and 5.5-inch screens, respectively. The on-board Snapdragon 820 processor and 4GB of RAM should keep Google’s latest operating system; Android 7.1 Nougat running smoothly. NFC with Android Pay and USB Type-C are also expected.
