Today in China, Huawei has just launched a new smartphone under the Honor brand – The new Honor 8 smartphone packs a slim body equipped with a dual rear camera, and starts at ¥1999 (~$299 – £230 – €270) for the base model.Honor 8 with Dual Camera WebooThe Honor 8 is a very slim handset featuring a metal body frame packed with a shiny 2.5D curved glass on both sides; front and rear. It measures 145.5 x 71.0 x 7.45mm, weighs 153 grams and is offered in a choice of colours including, White, Black, Blue, Pink (Rose Gold) and Gold.Honor 8 with 2-5D Glass Body Dual Camera Launched in China webooAs for specifications, the Honor 8 is configured with a 5.2-inch 1080p Full HD IPS screen, Kirin 950 Octa-core chipset along with up to 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of expandable internal memory. There is an 8MP front-facing camera and a 12MP dual rear camera, similar to one on-board the Honor V8 smartphone.Honor 8 with 2-5D Glass Body and Dual Camera Launched in China weboo-coThe Honor 8 is armed with a 3,000mAh battery and runs Huawei’s EMUI 4.1 skin on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. The Honor 8 will go on sale in China in the next few hours through local online retailers such as; JD.com, Tmall.com, Vmall.com and Suning.com. The device is priced at ¥1999 ~$299 (3GB RAM+32GB ROM), ¥2299 ~$345 (4GB RAM+32GB ROM) and ¥2499 ~$375 (4GB RAM+64GB ROM).
