A new leaks including some prototype images of the upcoming HTC 10 were posted online by @OnLeaks revealing the device’s design and specifications.

Clearly HTC did not make any effort to change the design of its new smartphone. The HTC 10 will have the same outdated design of any other HTC device. However, the upcoming HTC 10 will now have a USB Type-C as opposed to the standard micro-USB found in other HTC smartphones.

In addition to the curved metal housing, the HTC 10 said to come with a 5.15-inch 2K Quad-HD AMOLED (2560 x 1440 pixels) display covered by 2.5D arc glass, a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM and a choice of internal storage; 16GB, 32GB or 64GB with microSD slot for storage expansion.

HTC is promising consumers a “very compelling camera experience”. The HTC 10 is believed to come with a 12MP UltraPixel rear camera with dual flash, OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation), fast PDAF (Phase Detection Auto-Focus) with laser autofocus and a 5MP front-facing shooter.

The HTC 10 will also be equipped with a front-facing fingerprint sensor and will ship with Android 6.0 Marshmallow alongside HTC Sense user interface. The HTC 10 will be officially unveiled at an event in London on April 12th.
