HTC has officially released the much anticipated flagship device, the HTC One M9. There were many leaks, rumours and concepts about the HTC One M9, similar to the Samsung Galaxy S6 & S6 Edge.


The HTC One M9 has a premium design with Dual-tone all-metal body features mirrored edges that are ergonomically tapered to effortlessly fit your grip. Its unibody back is curved to achieve the streamlined look and feel of the iconic HTC One series smartphones.
The HTC One M9 will be available in three colours; Gold on Gold, Gold on Silver and Gunmetal Grey


The HTC One M9 has a Dual-tone metal unibody with a 5.0 inch Full HD 1080p display, and runs a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, octa core 64-bit. It also comes with 32GB of internal storage with 3GB of RAM, their a microSD slot for storage expansion up to 128GB.
The HTC One M9 features 20 Megapixel rear camera with sapphire cover lens and 5 Megapixel front-facing shooter. Its sapphire rear camera lens provides durable scratch resistance for long-lasting use.

The HTC One M9 has the following sensors; an ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, accelerometer, compass sensor, gyro sensor, magnetic sensor and sensor Hub. It also has an internal GPS antenna + GLONASS.

The HTC One M9 is powered by 2840 mAh battery with Up to 25.4 hours for 2G/ 21.7 hours for 3G talk time, and Up to 391 hours for 2G/ 402hours for 3G standby time.

The HTC One M9 measures 144.6 x 69.7 x 9.61 mm and weighs 157 grams, and has a microSD slot, Nano Sim Slot, micro-USB 2.0 (5-pin) port, 3.5 mm stereo audio jack , On/OFF button, and volume button.


The HTC One M9 has a 20MP rear camera with sapphire cover lens, auto-focus, BSI sensor, f/2.2, 27.8mm lens, 4K video recording. The 5MP front-facing camera is HTC UltraPixel, BSI sensor, f/2.0, 26.8mm lens, and supports 1080p video recording

The 20MP main camera with an UltraPixel front camera provides photo and imaging control like never before. HTC Eye Experience software allows you to create Split Captures, take Voice Selfies, apply Live Makeup and more. Plus, you can combine your photos and videos with your friends for footage from multiple points of view with the Zoe app.

The HTC One M9 has a front-facing camera built with UltraPixel technology to take in more light, for incredibly detailed selfies, both day and night. Its wide-angle lens is designed to capture a larger field of view, so you’ll get all your friends with every shot.With both cameras you can enjoy incredible images from both sides of the HTC One M9.

The HTC One M9 features an intuitive One Gallery that groups your photos and videos with easy organisation and search controls. You can search locally stored footage, as well as photos and videos on social media and online sites. Keep everything just a few clicks away with the HTC One M9’s One Gallery.


HTC One M9 features HTC BoomSound with Dolby Audio which can deliver a 5.1 surround sound effect with true cinematic experience. HTC BoomSound with Dolby Audio provides optimised sound, even from multi-channel online sources. The BoomSound is available both on both, the audio and headphone modes.


The HTC One M9 features more customisable options than ever. With the built-in HTC Themes app, you can change the look and feel of your phone using your favourite photo or even online image. Control everything from the shape and size of your icons, ring tone and even wallpaper of your phone.

A context-based homescreen widget automatically detects your location and provides apps based on a combination of your location as well as use preferences. Get tools and info based on where you are, for personalised solutions. The HTC One M9 keeps you connected wherever you go.

The HTC One M9 features an enhanced BlinkFeed that offers recommendations and links based on your location. You’ll get mealtime specials in your area, wherever you are.

The HTC One M9 runs Android 5.0 Lollipop enhanced with the new HTC Sense 7 UI . In terms of connectivity, 4G/LTE, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, DLNA, HDMI MHL 3.0, CIR and Bluetooth v4.1, all comes as standard.

As for multimedia, the device supports; .aac, .amr, .ogg, .m4a, .mid, .mp3, .wav, .wma, .flac for audio playback, and .aac for audio recording format. It also support, .3gp, .3g2, .mp4, .wmv, .avi, .mkv for video playback, and .mp4 for video recording format.

Price & Availability

The HTC One M9 comes in three sharp colors, Gold on Gold, Gold on Silver and Gunmetal Grey, and will be available end of March. Although, HTC didn’t announce a price, we are expecting the HTC One M9 to retail for £549 – $799. [reaction_buttons]
