Taiwanese HTC has launch its latest flagship smartphone, the HTC U Ultra for consumers in India. The device is now available for sale in two colours, Sapphire Blue and Brilliant Black from HTC’s online store in India for Rs 59,990, which is about $900 USD.

HTC U Ultra features a dual display similar to the one found on-board the LG V10 & V20 phones, and also comes with a shiny 3D curved rear glass, making the device looking like the Samsung Galaxy S7 series .

The HTC U Ultra’s 5.7 inch Quad-HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) display has a second screen on top which displays information like; contacts, time, weather and other notifications. The device is powered by Snapdragon 821 quad-core processor along with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and 3,000mAh battery.

In the camera department, there is a 12MP 4K rear camera with PDAF, laser focus, OIS and f/1.8 aperture, and also a rather generous 16MP front camera with HTC UltraPixel mode. The HTC U Ultra also comes with HTC Usonic, HTC BoomSound Hi-Fi edition and 3D Audio recording with 4 microphones.

The dual SIM device is 4G enabled with Cat 11 LTE support, delivering download speed of up to 600 Mbps and upload speed of up to 50 Mbps. The device boasts fingerprint scanner, NFC, Bluetooth v4.2, dual band Wi-Fi: 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 & 5GHz) and USB 3.1 Type-C connector.
