Chinese Huawei has launched an interesting new smartphone under the Honor brand, dubbed Honor 7i. The new device is equipped with a 13-Megapixel flip camera which can rotate 180 degrees to take rear facing or front facing photos.
The flip camera has f/2.0 aperture, autofocus, dual LED flash, 28mm wide angle lens protected by sapphire crystal and Image Signal Processor (ISP). It also works as a rear and/or frontal camera.
The Honor 7i is also equipped with a fingerprint scanner positioned at the side of the metal frame. It is the smallest fingerprint module claimed the company. The fingerprint scanner works to unlock the device quickly and accurately. It also supports the Chinese retailer Alipay for quick, safe and more convenient purchases. It adapts to your skin condition, meaning it also works even if your fingers are wet.
The new 7i also packs 5.2-inch Full-HD 1920 x 1080p display, 423ppi, 80% screen to body ratio and 85% ultra-high color gamut for more vivid images. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor, 2GB /3GB of RAM, 16GB / 32GB of storage with microSD option that supports up 128GB of extra storage expansion.

There is also a 3000mAh battery. The Honor 7i is a dual-SIM device supports 4G network and has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. It runs EMUI 3.1 based on Android Lollipop. The 7i comes in Silver and Gold with a glass back. It is available in China for CNY ¥1899 (~$297 – £190 – €260) with global rollout is expected to follow.
