Huawei has listed two new smartphones on the company’s website – The Huawei Y5 II and Y3 II both were leaked online last month. Based on their specifications, the new phones are aimed at entry-level smartphones users. Although the price and availability of the phones are not known, both are expected to retail quite cheaply.

Starting with the Huawei Y5 II. This phone will come in 3G and 4G variants with MediaTek MT6735 1.3GHz chipset for the 4G version and MediaTek MT6582 for the 3G. The 1.3GHz MediaTek processors are paired with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage.

The phone also boasts a 5.0-inch 720p HD IPS display, 8-Megapixel rear camera, 2-Megapixel front-facing shooter and 2200mAh battery making the Y5 II weighing 135 grams. The handset measures 143.8 x 72 x 8.9mm. The Huawei Y5 II runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with EMUI 3.1 and will be offered in a choice of colours; Obsidian Black, Arctic White, Sand Gold, Rose Pink and Sky Blue.

Moving swiftly to the smaller version, that is the Huawei Y3 II which will also be offered in two variants; 3G powered by 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6582M and 4G 1.0GHz MediaTek MT6735M for the 4G model. The amount of RAM and internal storage are the same as the one found in the Y5 II (1GB RAM + 8GB ROM).

The 4.5-inch FWVGA (854×480) screen is powered by a 2100mAh Li-poly battery. The Y3 II is equipped with a combo 2MP front and 5MP rear cameras. It will also run Android 5.1 Lollipop along with Huawei’s EMUI 3.1 user interface. The Huawei Y3 II will be offered in the same colours as the Y5 II; Obsidian Black, Arctic White, Sand Gold, Rose Pink and Sky Blue.
