Huawei has added a new smartphone to its online inventory. The Huawei Y6 Pro is a global version smartphone expected to go on sale in the next few weeks. The Huawei Y6 Pro is equipped with a long-lasting large 4000mAh battery along with the Smart Power Saving technology feature which uses eight separate power-optimization approaches.
The Y6 Pro handset is capable of working in idle mode for 24 hours, with only 10% of battery life. The device can also be used as an external battery power bank to charge other devices such as; smartphones and tablets. The on-board 4000mAh battery can provide 15 hours of data use, 39 hours of talk time, 48 hours of heavy use time and 90 hours of light use time.
Apart from its large battery, the Huawei Y6 Pro also features a metal frame with a textured water-ripple body design, made with 5176 water ripple elements. The Y6 Pro comes with a 5.0-inch 1280x720px HD IPS touch display, MediaTek MT6735P quad-core 1.3GHz processor, 2GB of RAM with 16GB of internal memory and a microSD slot option.

The Huawei Y6 Pro boasts a 13-Megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, flash and Autofocus. At the front, there is a 5-Megapixel camera with 84-degree wide angle and fixed focus. The Y6 Pro measures 143.1 x 71.8 x 9.7mm, weighs 160 grams and comes in Gold, White, Grey colours. It has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, Wi-Fi direct, Bluetooth v4.0 and GPS with AGPS.
Although there is no official word on price or availability, the Huawei Y6 Pro is expected to have a similar retail price to its sibling; the Huawei Y6 which costs about $145 in Vietnam. One thing is definite, the Huawei Y6 Pro will ship with Android 5.1 Lollipop along with Huawei’s custom made Emotion UI 3.1 Lite user interface.
