Today in China at an event took place at the Le Sports Centre, LeEco previously known as LeTV has shown the world that the Chinese company can also make SuperCars, not just TVs and smartphones. The Chinese company has officially unveiled three smartphones and a SuperCar; LeEco Le 2, Le 2 Pro and Le Max 2, and also LeEco’s first electronic SuperCar; dubbed LeSEE.

Doubtlessly, the new LeSEE looks very futuristic and functions like one with its self-driving-and-parking capabilities which uses voice commands through a mobile App. The company did not share the specs of the new car, however the English subtitles hinted that this is more of a concept car at present. LeEco’s first LeSEE electric car will be shown off properly at the Beijing Auto Show on April 24th.

LeEco Le 2 Le 2 Pro Le Max 2 and LeEco SuperCar Officially UnveiledBack to the smartphones, the three new phones as we mentioned are; LeEco Le 2, Le 2 Pro and Le Max 2, all share the same metallic design and they look very sleek indeed. Interestingly, Chinese LeEco seems to be in a race with the American company Apple, who is reportedly will be getting rid of the 3.5mm headphone port to make future iPhones, presumably iPhone 7 slimmer. The Chinese company has gone ahead and ditched the conventional 3.5mm headphone jack from its new Le 2 smartphone series, in favour of the USB Type-C digital headphones.

In addition to their metallic bodies and USB Type-C connectors, the new smartphones are also equipped with rear fingerprint scanners and edge-to-edge glass panel on the front to impersonate a borderless screen when switched off. As for specs, the Le Max 2 is the largest and most expensive in the series. It is configured with a 5.7-inch QHD screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with a whopping 6GB of RAM, a more advanced ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, 21MP Sony rear camera, 8MP frontal shooter and a 3,100mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 3.0 technology.

The LeEco Le 2 Pro is kind of the middle sibling in the series. The Le 2 Pro is equipped with a 5.5-inch 1080p full-HD screen, deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 processor clocked at 2.3GHz and paired with Mali GPU for graphics, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The Le 2 Pro also comes with a 3,000mAh battery, 16MP rear camera along with an 8MP front-facing camera.

Lastly, the LeEco Le 2 packed with a 5.5-inch Full HD display, deca-core MediaTek Helio X25 processor clocked at 2.5GHz and coupled with 4GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory and a 3,000mAh battery that also supports fast charging technology. The LeEco Le 2 sports a 21MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing shooter.

As for price and availability, the Le Max 2 with 4GB RAM+ 32GB ROM is priced at ¥2,099 CNY (~$325), or ¥2,499 CNY (~$390) for the top-spec model; 6GB RAM+64GB ROM. The Le 2 Pro comes at ¥1,499 CNY (~$230) and just ¥1,099 CNY (~$170) for the Le 2. Pre-orders kick off on April 20th in China.
