Today, Lenovo also launched the next generation of ThinkPad X1 lineup family including; the ThinkPad X1 Carbon laptop, designed specifically to embrace the needs of the evolving workforce and workplace.

LENOVO LAUNCHES ITS SMART ASSISTANT WITH AMAZON ALEXA

At first glance, the ThinkPad X1 Carbon is a familiar sight, but closer inspection reveals that it is smaller. In fact, in addition to being the lightest notebook in its class at under 2.5 pounds (1.14kg), it is also the smallest, fitting a high quality 14-inch IPS display into a typical 13-inch form factor.Despite the smaller size, the X1 Carbon comes with an array of ports, infrared camera, connectivity, ThinkPad X1 IR Camera alongside a fingerprint scanner for security. The six-row ThinkPad keyboard now comes with an improved Microsoft Precision Touchpad (with physical buttons) and iconic TrackPoint complete the picture.

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon will be available from February 2017, with a starting retail price of $1,349. Lenovo also added two new products in the company’s ThinkPad X1 portfolio; the ThinkPad X1 Yoga priced at $1,499 and will hit retails in February 2017, and also the ThinkPad X1 Tablet priced at $949 and will be available for sale from March 2017.
