Lenovo has launched a new Vibe smartphone in Russia. The Vibe A is a budget-friendly handset packed with low-end hardware specs and uninspiring design to match.

Don’t expect to see a fingerprint scanner or even a 720p HD screen on-board the new phone. Instead, Lenovo has configured the Vibe A with a 4-inch 800x480px screen, 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731 chipset, 512MB RAM, 4GB of expandable storage, 1,700mAh battery, 5MP fixed-focus rear camera with LED flash and 0.3MP fixed-focus front-facing shooter.

The Vibe A is a dual SIM device with only 3G connection. It runs the outdated Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and measures 124.5 x 64 x 10.6mm, weighs 132g and comes in black and white colours. Based on the specs, the Lenovo Vibe A is expected to retail very cheaply when it hits stores in the coming days.
