LG Electronics has officially unveiled its newest variant of its widely praised LG G4 flagship smartphone. The LG G4 Beat is a mid-range handset packed with the best features of the LG G4, including premium design, advanced camera and display, great performance and battery life.
The LG G4 Beat comes with a 5.2-inch Full HD IPS In-Cell Touch display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and 423ppi, an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor running eight cores at 1.5GHz with integrated 4G LTE. There is 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of built-in storage with microSD slot for extra storage expansion.
The new device is equipped with an 8-Megapixel rear camera (13MP in Latin America) with LG’s Color Spectrum Sensor, Laser Auto Focus and Manual Shooting Mode. At the front there is a 5-Megapixel front-facing shooter with Gesture Interval Shot to allow users to take four consecutive selfies with a single hand gesture. The G4 Beat can handle Full HD 1080p playback at 60fps and capture at 30fps.

Manual Mode to give users fine control over every detail of a shot, including shutter speed, ISO, exposure and white balance.

What is good about the LG devices is that you can replace their batteries, the LG G4 Beat is no exception, the device has a 2,300mAh removable battery. The G4 Beat supports 4G LTE / HSPA+ 42.2Mbps (3G) networks and has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, NFC, A-GPS, Glonass and USB 2.0.
Android 5.1.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed on-board the G4 Beat, letting you enjoy Google’s latest apps and services. In terms of dimensions, the device measures 142.7 x 72.6 x 9.85mm and weighs 139 grams. It comes in Metallic Silver, Ceramic White and Shiny Gold.
According to LG, the G4 Beat will make its debut this month in key markets in Europe and Latin America, including France, Germany and Brazil before rolling out globally in markets such as Canada, India, Russia, Singapore, South Africa and Turkey, among others. Prices and details of availability will be announced locally at the time of launch.
