The wait is over and the LG G5 is finally here! The G5 is currently available for pre-ordering in the UK through Amazon.co.uk for £529 (~$752 – €683 – $1006 AUD). Even though you can now pre-order the LG G5 in Titan Grey or Rose Gold today, you still have to wait until the release date which is set for April 8th, according to Amazon’s listing. The G5 is also listed on eBuyer.com for the same price.
The LG G5 features a modular design which allows for the addition of several add-ons, including the LG Cam Plus and LG Hi-Fi Plus with B&O Play. The device has a metal body design packed with an always-on 5.3-inch Quad-HD screen, Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM and 2800mAh removable battery. Also, there is dual rear camera (16MP + Wide-angle 8MP), allowing you to take great photos alongside an 8MP front-facing shooter.
At £529, the LG G5 is still slightly cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy S7 priced at £569, however both devices are completely different in terms of design and functionalities, so it is quite hard to compare the two. Really, it is a matter of personal taste whether to go for the metal or just settle for the glass.
