LG has just launched the LG G5 flagship smartphone as LG G5 Speed in Taiwan. The LG G5 Speed (LG H858) is identical to the LG G5 (LG H860) smartphone. The phone comes with the same design and hardware components of the LG G5 announced at the MWC 2016 on February 2016.
Like the LG G5, the LG G5 Speed has a sleek metal body with modular functionality, allowing you to transform the smartphone by adding a collection of companion devices, called “LG Friends,” to plug in and transform the LG G5 into a DSLR-style camera, a mobile virtual reality viewer and more.
The LG G5 Speed comes with a 5.3-inch Quad-HD IPS screen with 2.5D arc glass and 4th Gen Gorilla Glass and Always-on display, 2.1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, expandable with microSD card, 2,800mAh battery, 8MP frontal camera and a dual rear camera with two lenses measuring 16MP and 8MP.
The new LG G5 Speed is priced at 23,900 TWD (~$740) and will be offered exclusively through the Taiwanese local carriers including; Chunghwa Telecom, Taiwan Mobile and FarEasTone. Consumers in Taiwan can pick up the LG G5 Speed starting this month in Titan Grey, Gold and Rose Gold colours with a free B&O PLAY by Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H3 In-Ear headphones.
