Next month, on February 26th at the Mobile World Congress, LG is set to unwrap its next flagship smartphone; the LG G6. An image (above) of the upcoming G6 smartphone was surfaced online, revealing the device’s ultra-slim sleek metallic body design armed with a narrow bezel touchscreen.

The LG G6 is said to feature a large 5.7-inch QHD display with minimal bezels and an oddly aspect ratio of 2:1. The device’s screen-to-bezel ratio is said to be greater than 90 percent. According to The Verge, the G6’s bottom is slightly taller than the top bezel. The large screen is also expected to have curved corners.

LG won’t use the modular design from last year’s G5 smartphone. The upcoming G6 will be made entirely out of glass and metal — a final and conclusive departure from the unpleasant plastic that characterized the company’s previous Android flagship smartphones. LG will also keep the widely used 3.5mm headphone jack on-board the new G6. The device may also come with some sort of dust & waterproof rating to compete with the forthcoming Galaxy S8 & S8 Plus from Samsung.

If you like smartphones with removable batteries, then definitely you will be very disappointed, as the LG G6 will come with a non-removable battery. The device is also expected to have a super-slim body packed with dual-camera system and center-mounted fingerprint scanner at the rear. It should run Google’s latest OS; Android 7 Nougat alongside LG’s user interface from the word go.
