The LG K7 and K10 4G smartphones are coming to India next week. The South Korean company has just sent out media invites (below) for its launch event on April 14. The K7 and K10 were initially announced last January at the CES 2016.
The K smartphones series feature premium design and offer advanced camera features at an affordable retail price. The glossy pebble design language of the K10 is complemented by LG’s new 2.5D Arc Glass for a smooth and seamless look. An intricately woven back cover provides optimal grip, preventing the phone from slipping out of users’ hands.
Aimed at a younger audience who enjoy consuming content on their smartphones and actively sharing on social media, the K10 offers a 5.3-inch HD In-cell Touch display, premium-level camera specifications — up to 13MP on the rear and 8MP on the front — with an ample 2,300mAh battery. The device is available with four CPU variants, 1.2 GHz or 1.3 GHz quad-core and 1.14 GHz octa-core for the LTE version. However, the 3G variant is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core chipset.
On the other hand, the LG K7 features a 5-inch display with 854×480 pixels resolution, and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with LG custom made user interface. The phone hosts a 2,125 mAh battery and is equipped with a 5.0-Megapixel front-facing camera. The LTE version of the smartphone is powered by a 1.1GHz processor while the 3G variant features a 1.3GHz quad-core CPU.
The main camera of the LG K7 will be either 8-Megapixel or 5-Megapixel depending on each market. The K7 phone packs 1.5GB/1GB of RAM and 8GB/16GB of internal storage with microSD slot option. The exact price and availability of the K smartphones is yet to be announced.
