After launching the LG Ray in Russia, LG Electronics has announced the global availability of its 3G smartphone. The LG Ray is designed for 3G markets and is set to start rolling out in CIS region this week followed by Latin America, according to the company’s latest announcement.

The LG Ray features a metallic design and comes loaded with a 5.5-inch 720p HD display, 1.4GHz Octa-Core MediaTek processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of inbuilt storage, 32GB microSD slot, 13MP rear and 8MP front cameras and 3000mAh removable battery.

Powered by Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, the LG Ray comes in a single SIM and dual SIM variants in three colour options – Silver, Gold and Titan Black. In Russia, the LG Ray X190 is priced at 14990 Russian Ruble (~$230 – £151 – €216 – $318 AUD). The 3G device is expected to have a similar retail price when it goes on sale in CIS and Latin America.
