Meizu is expanding its ‘A’ smartphone series with the official launch of the A5 handset, which is now available for sale at the company’s website. The Meizu A5 is an entry-level smartphone priced at just ¥699 which is about $100 USD.
The device has a metal body configured with a 5.0-inch 720p HD display, Mediatek MT6737 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of flash memory, a decent 3,060mAh battery, 8MP rear camera, 5MP front shooter, dual SIM slot, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity options.
The Meizu A5 measures 144×70.5×8.3mm, weighs 140g and comes in black, gold, and silver colour options with Android operating system alongside Meizu’s user interface.
