Indian mobile phones maker Micromax today has launched the new Canvas Spark 2. A low-end Android powered smartphone offered at a very affordable price point, costing only Rs. 3999 (~ $60 – £40 – €55).

The Canvas Spark 2 is the second device in the Canvas series. The company has previously launched Canvas SPARK Q380 back in April. The Spark 2 comes with a 5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) display, 1.3GHz Quad-core processor and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The Micromax Spark 2 is equipped with 2MP frontal camera and a 5MP rear camera with fixed-focus and LED Flash. There is a 1800mAh battery, 4GB memory with 32GB storage expansion capability via microSD card.

The 3G device has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, Dual SIM slot, 3.5mm Headphone Jack and even FM radio to listen your favorite channels. The Canvas Spark 2 will go on flash sale through the Indian retailer Snapdeal on 30th September at 12 noon.
