Lenovo-owned Motorola has launched a couple of new devices – The Moto E4 and Moto E4 Plus are entry-level handsets aimed at first-time smartphone users. Both devices are packed with all day battery, decent display and respectable cameras – and are reasonably priced.

Moto E4

Moto E4 features a 5-inch 720p HD display and a sleek metal body design. It is powered by a Snapdragon 425, or Snapdragon 427 (depending on each market), 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage and a 2800mAh battery which should keep you going for hours on a single charge. The device also has an 8MP autofocus main camera, 5MP front-facing camera and a fingerprint sensor. It runs Android 7.1 Nougat straight out of the box.

Moto E4 Plus

The Moto E4 Plus comes with a 5.5-inch 720p HD display wrapped in metal body which houses a super-large 5,000mAh battery, allowing you to go longer without worrying about recharging. But when it is time for a boost, there’s no need to slow down to power up, as Moto E4 Plus works with the 10W rapid charger, which gives you hours of battery life in minutes of charging.

The Moto E4 Plus has a nano coating water-repellent body which is designed to protect the phone inside and out. The Moto E4 Plus can be unlocked using the fingerprint reader at the front. The device employs a 13MP autofocus rear camera and a 5MP front camera with a front-facing flash.

Packed with a quad-core Snapdragon 427 processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB or 32GB storage, the Moto E4 Plus offers the power you need to enjoy the Android 7.1 Nought operating system.

As for price and availability, the Moto E4 and Moto E4 Plus will be available in a variety of metal finishes beginning this month across various countries. Moto E4 will be available for $129.99 USD and €149. Moto E4 will also be available as an Amazon Prime Exclusive Phone; pricing details will be shared at a later date.
