Motorola has announced an updated version of its Moto E smartphone. The new Moto E 2nd Generation is now available with 4G LTE speed, a 4.5-inch qHD display, front-facing camera, the latest Android Lollipop OS, and even more customization options. And, for the first time, Motorola is bringing personalized software experiences that has introduced with Moto X to the most affordable device. The Moto E 2nd Gen packs a bigger smartphone punch for a fraction of the average smartphone cost.

The new Moto E 2nd Gen supports 4G LTE / 4G speed and also will be available in a 3G version, the Moto E is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with 1.2 GHz quad-core CPU with Adreno 306 with 400 MHz GPU. The new Moto E has a 2390 mAh battery, which is designed to last a full day without worrying about stopping to recharge. The new Moto E comes with 8GB of internal storage with 1GB of RAM, the storage is supports up to 32GB microSD card.

The Moto E Second Generation features a 4.5 inch qHD 540×960 245 ppi IPS display made with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and Anti-smudge coating, and comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera with flash, the main camera features; f/ 2.2 aperture, Quick Capture, 4X digital zoom, Slow motion video, Burst mode, Auto HDR, Panorama, and Tap to focus, the front-facing camera is a VGA shooter, which is perfect for selfies or video calls with family and friends. With two twists of the wrist, you can launch the camera with Motorola’s Quick Capture feature. Want to take a selfie? Just twist your wrist again to switch to the front-facing camera. All without touching the screen.

Also the second generation of the Moto E will come with the latest Android Lollipop operating system. The handset also will come in choice of interchangeable Motorola Bands and Grip Shells to personalize your phone and give it phone a splash of color.

The new Moto E Second Generation measures Height: 129.9 x Width: 66.8 x Curve: 5.2 – 12.3mm, and weighs 145 grams (5.11 ounces), the device has a Water Resistant Coating, and it comes in Black and White with the choice of colored Motorola Band & Motorola Grip Shells. (sold separately).
