Another Moto Smartphone from Motorola has just landed in Mexico – The new Moto G Turbo Edition is a mid-range smartphone with water and dust proof body, Full-HD touch display and Dual micro SIM option. It is priced at $283 (~£183 – €260 – $396 AUD) and will be available for sale in Mexico starting November 13th.
Sharing similar features and hardware specifications to the Moto G 3rd Gen, the new Moto G Turbo Edition is IP67 certified making it water-resistant. It can withstand up to 1 meter in water for 30 minutes, as well as resistant against dust ingress. The device’s screen is protected by the third generation of Corning Gorilla Glass.
The Moto G Turbo Edition boasts a 5-inch (1920x1080p) screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, Adreno 405 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, MicroSD card slot, 5-Megapixel frontal shooter along with 13-Megapixel rear facing camera and packs a 2470mAh battery which can be charged quickly through the Turbo Power feature.
The device also supports 4G LTE and has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS and runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. The Moto G Turbo is expected to be customisable via Motorola’s online Moto Maker. However, at this point, it is unknown if the new Moto G Turbo Edition will be available in other markets.
