The cheapest Nokia phone in the Android-powered smartphone series, the Nokia 3 launched earlier this week in India. The device has a retail price of Rs. 9,499 (~$147 USD) and can now be bought through offline retail stores across the country.

The 5-inch Nokia 3 has a 720p HD screen with Corning Gorilla Glass, and is powered by MediaTek MTK 6737, aided by 2GB of RAM and 16GB flash storage with an option to expand up to 128GB via a microSD card, and also a 2,650mAh battery. As for cameras, the Nokia 3 uses an 8MP sensor on both, the front and rear. The phone runs Android 7.0 Nougat and ships in four colours; Silver White, Matte Black, Tempered Blue and Copper White.

The Nokia 3 was initially unveiled alongside two other Android smartphones— the Nokia 6 and Nokia 5. The latter will go on sale in India on July 7 for Rs. 12,899 (~$200 USD).
