It seems that soon we will be seeing a new flagship smartphone from Nokia as one of its devices landed at the benchmarking site; Geekbench. The device which was listed as ‘Unknown Heart’ with 8GB of RAM is said to be the upcoming Nokia 9 Android smartphone.

It’s worth mentioning that the same device with the same codename was previously listed with 4GB of RAM on the Geekbench website. Given Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 were earlier listed in benchmarks as ‘Heart’, it is safe to say that the Geekbench listings are likely to be the Nokia 9.

Based on the Geekbench listing, the Nokia 9 will be configured with a very generous 8GB of RAM and is powered by an octa-core 1.9GHz chipset from Qualcomm which is expected to be the powerful Snapdragon 835 processor, and also runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system.

Meanwhile, the guys at the French website; FrAndroid claim that they had their hands on a prototype of Nokia 9, revealing a vertically aligned dual camera with 13MP sensors, 5.27-inch WQHD touch display with a resolution of 1440×2560 pixels, 4GB or 6GB of RAM alongside a 64GB of internal storage.

According various reports, the Finnish company is expected to release the Nokia 9 smartphone to global market at the end of Q3. The device is said to come with a retail price of around $699 USD.
