Chinese ZTE has announced a new smartphone under the Nubia brand at an event in Prague, Czech Republic. Inspired by city of Prague, ZTE has named the new device Nubia My Prague. The handset is 5.5mm thin and features a metal body design packed with Super AMOLED display and 13-Megapixel camera.
The new Nubia My Prague boasts a 5.2 Full-HD Super AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and 424ppi, an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and Adreno 405 @ 550MHz GPU, 2GB / 3GB of RAM and 16GB / 32GB of built-in storage with microSD slot that supports up to 128GB of storage expansion.
In the camera department, there is a 13-Megapixel rear camera with f/2.2, LED flash, and ISOCELL sensor which is capable of capturing images at low light conditions and has a 0.2 seconds fast focusing speed. At the front, there is an 8-Megapixel front facing camera with f/2.4 aperture and 78º degrees wide angle lens.
The Nubia My Prague is dual SIM enabled and supports 4G/LTE networks as well as 2G and 3G. It has dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, NeoVision 5.1 and digital compass, light sensor, proximity sensor, gyroscope, hall sensor and gravity sensor. It runs Android Lollipop with ZTE’s custom Nubia 3.0 user interface.
The new device hosts a 2200mAh battery which supports fast charging technology. The Nubia My Prague comes in two variants; Standard Edition White/Silver (2GB RAM + 16GB ROM) costing €349 (approx $385 – £250) and the Elite Edition White/Gold (3GB RAM + 32GB ROM) price at €429 (approx $375 – £310).
