Finally, the guys at OnePlus have decided to put an end to rumours and launched the OnePlus 3T smartphone; a similar handset to the OnePlus 3, but with some better hardware components and a choice of new colours; Gunmetal and Soft Gold.

As mentioned the OnePlus 3T is an upgraded version of its predecessor; the OnePlus 3. The 3T version now packs a powerful Snapdragon 821 chipset (Quad Core, Kryo: 2x 2.35GHz, 2x 1.6GHz), a decent size 3,400mAh non-removable fast charging battery with Dash Charge (5V, 4A), 128GB of internal storage capacity as well as 64GB option, and also a pumped up front camera; from an 8MP Sony IMX179 1.4 µm camera to 16MP Samsung 3P8SP sensor with 1.0 µm pixels.

This is where the fun ends. The rest of the specs are unchanged. In fact, the OnePlus 3T still uses the same old metal body from the OnePlus 3. Both share the same 16MP f/2.0 Sony IMX 298 4K rear camera sensor, 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD Corning Gorilla Glass 4 display with AMOLED technology, USB Type-C 2.0 and 6GB of RAM.
