Chinese OnePlus is set to unveil its next flagship smartphone the OnePlus 5 on Friday, June 20th. Fortunately, you don’t have to wait until then to find out full hardware specifications of the upcoming device, which are now listed on the benchmarking website GFXbench.
Based on the GFXbench listing, the OnePlus 5 with model number (A5000) will be equipped with a generous 8GB of RAM and to be powered by an octa-core 2.5GHz chipset from Qualcomm, which is expected to be the powerful Snapdragon 835 processor integrated with Adreno 540 GPU for graphics and 128GB of internal storage.

The 5.5-inch OnePlus 5 will have a full HD 1080p display and a metal body houses a dual rear camera with 16MP lenses, and also a 16MP camera lens at the front. The main camera can capture 4K Ultra HD videos with resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and aided by Autofocus and LED flash. The secondary camera at the front can record Full HD (1920 x 1080px) videos.

The OnePlus 5 will runs OxygenOS based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat straight out of the box. In terms of design and colour options, the OnePlus 5 will look very similar to the iPhone 7 Plus, giving you the best of both worlds, Apple’s design and Android OS.
