Today, Oppo has quietly released its A37 smartphone in China. The Oppo A37 previously was made available through China Telecom, however today the phone has gone up for sale in China via Oppo’s own website.

Oppo A37 Rose GoldThe entry-level smartphone features a metallic body configured with a 5.0-inch 720p HD IPS LCD display, 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage with microSD slot supports up to 128GB, hybrid dual SIM port, 4G VoLTE, NFC, 2,630mAh battery and an 8MP rear camera alongside a 5MP front facing camera.

The Oppo A37 ships with Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and Oppo’s custom made ColorOS 3.0 user interface in gold and rose gold colours for ¥1299 (~$199 – £138 – €178 – $259 AUD). The Oppo A37 is also expected to be made available in other markets through OppoStyle.com.
