The newly announced Oppo R7 Silver & Gold is now up for sale in the UK. The device has an attractive retail price, £259 to be precise and can be pre-ordered directly from the online retailer, Amazon UK. The Oppo R7 will be released on July 21, 2015 according to the listing.
The Oppo R7 features a premium elegant metal unibody design made with a single piece of aircraft-grade magnesium aluminium alloy with curved edges promising to be robust yet retaining the sleek look with 2.5D arc edge screen. It measures 143 x 71 x 6.3mm and weighs 147 grams and comes in Silver and Gold metal finish.
Other specifiction; a 5″ AMOLED display, Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution with 445 PPI, a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 MSM8939 Octa-Core combined with 3GB LPDDR3 of RAM for smooth browsing and gaming. There is 16GB of internal storage on-board the Oppo R7 with microSD slot for memory expansion.
The Oppo R7 is euipped with a 0.1s fast starting 13-Megapixel Sony Exmor IMX214 BSI sensor rear cameras with f/2.2 Aperture, Flash and a fast PDAF (Phase Detect Autofocus) promises to deliver DSLR image quality. At the front there is a good 8-Megapixel front-facing shooter with f/2.4 Aperture, 84 degree wide angle and the Beautify 2.0+ packed with Beauty Modes.

The Oppo R7 runs ColorOS 2.1 based on Android 4.4 (KitKat). The device has a dual SIM slot and supports 4G/LTE network connectivity. The R7 is packed with a fast charging 2320mAh built-in Li-Po battery. You can charge your R7 to 75% battery in 30 minutes with the included VOOC mini flash charger.
