Oppo’s forthcoming smartphone; the R9s has made a visit to the benchmarking website; Geekbench. The Oppo R9s was listed on the Geekbench website ahead of its October 19th official unveiling.
Base on the listing, the Oppo R9s packs some respectable hardware specs, making it a good choice for Oppo fans. The Geekbench’s listing reveals that the Oppo R9s will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor with frequency speed of 2.02GHz. The device is also armed with 4GB of RAM to keep the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system running smoothly.
The Oppo R9s is expected to employ a 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD display, Adreno 506 GPU for graphics, 64GB of internal storage and 3,010mAh battery with Oppo’s Super VOOC rapid charger. Oppo has previously confirmed that the R9s smartphone will be equipped with Sony IMX398 sensor for its camera, which is expected to have a 16MP lens with f/1.7 aperture. At the front of the Oppo R9s we should also see a 13MP lens.
The Oppo R9s is expected to feature the same metal body design as its predecessor; the Oppo R9. The Chinese company may also launch the 6-inch Oppo R9s Plus along with the Oppo R9s in Silver, Gold and Rose Gold colours on Wednesday, October 19th, 2016. Make sure to stay tuned for further updates.
