Panasonic has introduced a new interchangeable lens camera – the Lumix DMC-GX80 is compact and stylish camera that can film in 4K quality at 30 frames per second (fps) and deliver the perfect shot in an 8MP still image. It has a Live View Finder and Dual Image Stabiliser that helps you take crisper, clearer images in difficult and fast-moving environments.
The Lumix DMC-GX80 features a beautifully textured body with retro leather effect, as well as high-quality knurled aluminium dials and a thick sturdy grip for one-handed shooting. The Lumix DMC-GX80 offers style and substance. The Lumix GX80 is designed to deliver professional-level results while giving you the portability you need when out searching for that perfect shot.
The Lumix DMC-GX80 packs a 16MP sensor lens and employs an ultra-fast Auto Focus system excels in both speed and accuracy, so your camera will always keep up with you. The GX80 also has 5-axis Dual Image Stabilisation technology. Both the camera’s body and lens feature high-end image stabilisation, so you can achieve stunning imagery, even when shooting out of the hand and on the move.
The Lumix GX80’s 3.0-inch touch-screen monitor tilts up by 80-degrees and down by 45-degrees to allow you to shoot from a high or low angle, easily. The Live View Finder (LVF) is perfect for framing your shot and capturing every detail you’re looking for. The LVF boasts 2764K-dot equivalent high resolution and approximately 100% colour reproduction for high visibility under any circumstances.
The in-built Wi-Fi connectivity option allows you to connect the camera with your smartphone or tablet giving you remote shooting options, as well as share your work instantly, wherever you are. Although the price of the Lumix DMC-GX80 is not available, the new compact camera is expected to go on sale in the coming weeks via Panasonic.com and other retailers.
