Samsung Electronics announced its latest Galaxy A smartphones; the Galaxy A7, A5 and A3. The new Galaxy A (2016) edition features premium metal design, enhanced camera, dual SIM connectivity and Samsung’s mobile payment technology. The Galaxy A (2016) smartphones will first go on sale in China in mid-December 2015, other global markets are also set to follow.
The Galaxy A (2016) combines metal and glass sleek design, Super AMOLED display with narrow bezel. The A7 comes with 5.5-inch FHD screen, 5.2-inch FHD for the A5 and 4.7-inch HD for the A3 the lowest in the group in terms of its offerings. All three devices support fast charging technology.
The Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 (2016) support Samsung Pay, Samsung’s simple, safe and virtually anywhere mobile payment service. Protected by fingerprint verification, Samsung Pay works with both Magnetic Secure Transmission (MST) and Near Filed Communication (NFC) technologies.
The Galaxy A (2016) smartphones are also equipped with 13MP main cameras delivering brighter and clearer photos and videos. The cameras include Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) to reduce and prevent image blurring, as well as a front and rear F1.9 lens to allow users to take optimum photos in low-light conditions.
The 4G LTE devices have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, NFC, Dual SIM connectivity and run Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with Samsung user interface. Also Galaxy A handsets come configured with 16GB of internal memory with microSD slot option supports up to 128GB of extra space. The Galaxy A7, A5 and A3 are 7.3mm thin and come in a choice of colours including; Rose Gold, Gold, Black and White.
