Today in China, Samsung has officially launched its Galaxy C9 Pro – a sleek looking, super slim Android 6.0 Marshmallow-powered smartphone armed with a generous 6GB of RAM, large battery and an Octa-core processor.
The Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro features a metal body design that measures only 6.9mm thin. The phone has an overall dimensions of 162.9 x 80.7 x 6.9mm, and weighs 169g. The Galaxy C9 Pro is packed with a rather large 6-inch 1920 x 1080px Full HD AMOLED touch screen with dual stereo speakers for immersive gaming, audio and video experience.
Under the hood, there is Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 MSM8976 Pro processor to keep everything running smoothly, and also a 64GB of internal storage, which can be supplement by a MicroSD card up to 256GB. The Galaxy C9 Pro is equipped with a 16MP camera at the front and rear, with LED flash for the rear camera. The Galaxy C9 Pro can be unlocked using the front-facing fingerprint scanner.
Fuelling the Galaxy C9 Pro is a respectable 4,000mAh battery, unfortunately there is no wireless charging support. The phone also has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, 4G LTE connectivity and a Nano SIM slot. The Galaxy C9 Pro will hit retail for pre-order starting today in China for ¥3,199 (~$474 – £387 – €433). It will be offered in Gold and Rose Gold colour options from Samsung China, Suning.com and JD.com.
