Samsung has officially launched a new smartphone in the ‘Galaxy J’ series for consumers in the United States. The Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) is now available for sale through AT&T for $179.99 full price, or $6 per month on a monthly installments.

The Galaxy J3 (2017) is an entry-level smartphone comes with a 5.0-inch 1280x720p HD touchscreen, Samsung Exynos 7 Quad (7570) Quad-core 1.4GHz processor, 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage and up to 256GB via the microSD.

The handset is equipped with a 5MP primary camera with LED flash and 4x digital zoom at the rear, and also a 2MP secondary camera at the front. The rear camera can shoot Full HD videos at 30fps, and also comes with various shooting modes such as; Auto, Pro, Sports, Panorama and Sound & Shot.

The Galaxy J3 (2017) promises to deliver up to 23 hours of talk time on the 2,600mAh removable battery. It ships with Google’s latest OS; Android 7.0 Nougat alongside Samsung’s user interface. The smartphone measures 5.55 x 2.76 x 0.34 inches and weighs 5.22 ounces.
