Samsung’s latest device, the new Galaxy Note 5 dual-SIM model, recently announced, is now for sale on eBay. The device is up for sale globally on the online giant auction website for about $788 (~£500 – €700) from various sellers.
The Galaxy Note5 is a stunning upgrade to Samsung’s flagship Galaxy Note line – more powerful and more personal than ever. Inspired by the design legacy of the Galaxy S6, it ergonomically fits in one hand with a narrower bezel and curved back. The flat screen is great to write on and the curved shape makes it easier to use the phone with one hand.
The device packs a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED screen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4 and has a resolution of 2560 x 1440 and 518ppi, an octa-core 64-bit Exynos 7420 processor (Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & Quad-core 2.1 GHz Cortex-A57), Mali-T760MP8 GPU, 4GB of RAM, 32B / 64GB of built-in storage and a fast charging (wired and wireless Qi/PMA) 3,000mAh non-removable Li-Po battery.
Additionally, the Note 5 is equipped with 16-Megapixel rear cameras with f/1.9 aperture and OIS, and a 5-Megapixel front facing camera with f/1.9 aperture. Other features include; Quick Launch (double click the home button to launch the camera in less than one second), Auto Real-time High Dynamic Range (HDR), Smart Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and brand-new filters and 4K Ultra-HD video recording and live video streaming.
In terms of connectivity, there is WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.2 law energy, ANT+, GPS/A-GPS-GLONASS, NFC, MST, and USB 2.0. The Note 5 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop. It supports 4G/LTE network, Samsung Payment system and has an Accelerometer, Proximity, RGB Light, HRM, Geo-magnetic, Gyro, Fingerprint, Barometer and Hall sensor.
The Galaxy Note 5 measures 153.2 x 76.1 x 7.6mm and weighs 171g. The device is set go on sale globally starting 21st August 2015 with a retail price of $739.99 for 32GB and $839.99 for the 64GB model. It comes in White Pearl, Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum and Silver Titanium.
