Samsung has unveiled a new smartphone in Malaysia, dubbed Galaxy V Plus. The new V Plus is a dual-SIM device supports 3G network and runs Android Kitkat operating system. The new Galaxy V Plus is an an affordable entry-level smartphone with low-end hardware.

The Galaxy V Plus comes with a 4-inch TFT WVGA touch display with 480 x 800 pixel resolution, a 1.2 GHz Dual Core processor, 0.5GB of RAM, 2GB of internal storage and a microSD slot for storage expansions up to 64GB.

The device has a 3-Megapixel CMOS rear camera with flash, and VGA front-facing camera. The Galaxy V Plus hosts a 1500mAh removable battery promises to last up to 8 hours of 3G talk time.

In addition, there is Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS/Glonass and 3.5mm Headphone Jack, and also an accelerometer sensor. The V Plus runs Android 4.4 kitkat with Samsung’s own TouchWiz Essence UX user interface. The device supports 2G GSM and 3G GSM networks.
