Consumers in Germany can now pre-order the Gear S3 directly from Amazon.de. The retailer is offering the Gear S3 Classic and Gear S3 Frontier for €399, a similar price to Samsung’s Germany which is currently giving away free straps with the Gear S3 pre-orders.
Quickly touching on the specs and features of the Gear S3. Both variants are built for leisure and sports activities with the integrated GPS, accelerometer, g-sensor, altimeter, barometer, heart rate monitor and ambient light sensor, and also LTE connectivity (only with the Gear S3 Frontier).
The Gear S3 has a 1.3-inch circular touchscreen with Always On Display (AOD) and Super AMOLED technology. The AOD always shows the time rather than automatically fading to black, embodying a sophisticated watch face that mimics the look and feel of luxury analog watch.
Featuring a robust, dust and waterproof design with IP68 rating, the Gear S3 also has a stainless steel case that comes with a silicon strap in black and grey colours for the Frontier and leather strap for the Classic Gear S3.
