Samsung has just confirmed that the 2nd generation of the Gear S smartwatch; the Gear S3 will be launched in the Tempodrom, Berlin, Germany on Wednesday August 31 at 18:00 CET. Samsung didn’t share the specs or features of the upcoming smartwatch, however we are expecting to see some major upgrades from its predecessor; the Gear S2.New-Gear-S3The Gear S3 will come with a built-in GPS for location tracking, and altimeter that constantly measures altitude and displays it in meter/mile on the watch’s screen. The watch will also have a barometer for measuring altitude and atmospheric, it can also works as a weather indicator, allowing you to check the upcoming weather conditions before leaving your front door. There is also a speedometer that lets you measure speed, calculate average speed, track distance, as well as total time.Samsung Gear S3 Will be Launched August 31 Weboo-co-2Like the Gear S2, the Gear S3 will also be powered by Samsung’s Tizen operating system instead on Android Wear OS.
